Warning to Sheep Graziers

Issued at 10:42 AM EST on Friday 18 Jul 2025.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures and northwesterly winds are expected during Friday and Saturday. Areas likely to be affected include the Snowy Mountains forecast district and parts of the Southern Tablelands and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The Warning to Sheep Graziers for the Northern Tablelands and Central Tablelands forecast districts has been cancelled.

The next warning will be issued by 5:00 pm EST Friday.
